Immigration & Asylum Caseworker and Interpreter

Deep Kaur Gaba is a London-based immigration and asylum caseworker and interpreter with several years of experience supporting clients through complex immigration matters. She worked with Legal Justice Solicitors from 2018, initially as an interpreter and later as an immigration caseworker, assisting with asylum claims, spouse visas, sponsor licences and other immigration matters.

A native speaker of Punjabi and Kabuli Punjabi, Deep has extensive experience interpreting between these languages and English, helping clients communicate effectively with legal professionals. In March 2024, she successfully completed the Law Society Immigration and Asylum Law Accreditation Senior Caseworker Examination, following her earlier Trainee Caseworker Assistant accreditation.

Before developing her career in immigration law, Deep gained substantial management and customer-service experience, including working as a Shift Manager at Sainsbury's Local, where she managed a team of 10–12 colleagues and oversaw daily store operations.

Her professional background combines immigration and asylum casework, interpreting, client support and leadership, with a particular strength in communicating with people from diverse backgrounds and supporting individuals navigating challenging circumstances.
